Important Note on Custom Links: Custom puzzles generated via the Puzzle Maker are stored strictly in client-side URL hash fragments (#d=...) and are not stored in our database. We do not host them, but we actively support blocking offensive links and honoring intellectual property notices.
1. Inappropriate Custom Links & Bullying
If you received or discovered a link with harmful, abusive, harassing, or obscene words targeting someone, please submit the link below or email us. We can block the hashed fingerprint client-side to prevent the puzzle from rendering.
2. Word Filter False-Positive Appeals
Our real-time dictionary filter prevents common offensive terms from being shared. If legitimate educational vocabulary (e.g. Scunthorpe, title, Dickcissel bird) was erroneously blocked by our filter, let us know and our lexicography team will adjust the boundary rules.
3. DMCA Copyright Notices
To file a notice of intellectual property infringement regarding our curated editorial puzzles, please provide:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The specific URL or puzzle slug on WordClover.
- Your contact information (name, address, email, telephone number).
- A statement made in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate.
